A late 19th century silver natural pearl and diamond brooch.
Verbal from GCS, stating natural, saltwater.
Estimated dimensions of larger pearl 8.9 by 7.4 by 5.6mms.
Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.90ct, H-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity.
Length 5cms. 8.6gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some moderate wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Two small diamonds deficient.
<li>Most of the smaller diamonds are rose-cuts.
<li>Rose-cut diamonds appear fairly bright. Old-cut diamonds generally appear bright.
<li>Pearls are a slightly silver white hue, with some light rose and greenish overtones. Bottom pearl with slightly flat, button-like form, fairly smooth surface, with good lustre. Top pearl more spherical in form, with smooth surface and drill hole to top.
<li>Pearls in good condition with some minor abrasions.
