A 19th century 18ct gold hardstone cameo ring, with floral surround, the shoulders with bird and frond motif.

<li>Overall condition good.
<li>Wear to the detail of the shoulders.
<li>Cameo appears to be a figure with a veil/headscarf, with insect on their shoulder believed to be a dragonfly/butterfly.
<li>Agate with small nick to surround on the front (minor associated dmaged to the mount) and small chip to the edge on the reverse, general slight surface scratches.
<li>Agate to cameo believed to include amethyst, appears brownish when worn and a medium deep purple hue when held to the light.
<li>Estimated dimensions of agate 21.9 by 13.3 by 5.9mms.
<li>Length of ring head 2.7cms.
<li>Stamped 1806, F.W., with the number 3 on a striped shield.
