An early 20th century gold and platinum, emerald cabochon and pear-shape old-cut diamond dress ring, with rose-cut diamond surround.
Emerald calculated weight 0.85ct, based on estimated dimensions of 5.8 by 5.6 by 3.6mms.
Estimated total pear-shape diamond weight 0.80ct, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity.

<li>Overall condition good. General light to moderate wear in keeping with age. Band likely a replacement.
<li>Rose-cut diamonds appear fairly bright. One appears to be set upside down. Some with small nicks and chips.
<li>Pear-shape old-cut diamonds appear bright and lively.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Emerald is a medium slightly bluish green hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Emerald in good condition.<p>
<li>Length of ring head 2.1cms.
<li>Metal tests as platinum to the top of head and approximately 18ct gold to the base of the head and to the band.
