Lot Description
An early 20th century silver and gold, Sri Lankan sapphire, natural pearl and diamond pendant, with later chain.
With report 80273-13, dated 27th August 2020, from GCS, stating Sri Lanka (Ceylon), no heat, estimated weight 10cts and natural pearl, saltwater.
Estimated total diamond weight 4cts, predominantly G-I colour, SI clarity.
Length of pendant 8.1cms. Length of chain 42cms. 21.7gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. General light to moderate marks, wear and discolouration, in keeping with age. Central cluster section appears to be later added/ unoriginal to the rest of the pendant.
<li>Few diamonds possibly below I colour and SI clarity. Some diamonds with small nicks and abrasions.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>

<li>Sapphire is a medium slightly violet blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions.
<li>Sapphire in good condition, with some minor nibbles and abrasions to facet edges.
<li>Pearl is a slightly creamy, silvery white hue, with some rose and greenish overtones.
<li>Pearl in good condition, with minor abrasions.
<li>Chain clasp stamped 15c. White metal to chain tests as platinum. Front of pendant tests as silver and approximately 12ct gold to the reverse.
