An Edwardian platinum Burmese ruby cabochon and single-cut diamond ring.
Verbal from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating Burma, no heat.
Ruby calculated weight 3.16cts, based on estimated dimensions of 8.5 by 7.5 by 4.6mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, H-I colour, predominantly VS clarity.

<li>Overall condition good. Surface scratches and very minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds appear generally bright and well matched.
<li>Few diamonds appear worse clarity.

<li>Ruby appears a well saturated slightly pinkish red hue. Surface reaching inclusions.
<li>Length of ring head 1.5cms.
