<li>Opal appears translucent to opaque and shows a fairly strong play-of-colour, displaying a range of hues, predominantly blues to greens.<p>

<li>Sapphires are a medium slightly violet blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions. Two appear to have small surface reaching cavities by the table.
