A 1940s gold and platinum, calibré-cut ruby and diamond cocktail watch.

Total ruby weight 4.20cts.
Estimated total diamond weight 2.65cts, I-L colour, VS-SI clarity.
Length 17.5cms. 46.7gms.

<li>Overall condition good. General light to moderate marks and wear in keeping with age. Appears to have been polished.

<li>Bracelet has had the two chains soldered together at the half way point on one side. Appears to have come apart on the other side. Bracelet is possibly not original the watch head.

<li>Diamonds bright.<p>

<li>Vendor states total ruby weight 4.20cts.

<li>Rubies are a medium pinkish red hue, well saturated, with some typical inclusions, some surface reaching.<p>

<li>Rubies generally appear in good condition, some with small nicks, abrasions and cavities.<p>

<li>Length of dial 1.1cms.

<li>Width (at widest) 1.8cms.

<li>Metal tests as approximately 18ct gold and platinum to the watch head and 15ct gold to the bracelet.

<li>Movement appears to be ticking.
