A late Victorian gold, citrine and white enamel brooch, with rope-twist surrounds.
Citrine calculated weight 50.67cts, based on estimated dimensions of 31.5 by 24 by 12mms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Four scrolls may be later embellishments.
<li>Citrine is a medium slightly orangey yellow hue. Large central window effect. Very small pinhole nick to table facet.
<li>Enamel shows discoloured fine cracks and few surface chips.
<li>Electronically tests as predominantly 21ct gold (scrolls testing approximately 17-18ct gold).
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
