A late 19th century gold brooch, depicting a bird upon a branch.

Length 3.9cms. 10.8gms.

<li>Overall condition very good.
<li>Some slight wear to the gilt finish.
<li>No apparent marks relating to metal or manufacturer.

<li>Main body electronically tests as approximately 17-18ct gold.

<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
