A pair of 1940s bi-colour 18ct gold, ruby, sapphire and diamond scroll earrings.

<li>Surface marks in keeping with wear.
<li>Possible replacement gems, wear/re-working to some mounts.
<li>Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Sapphires are a well matched light medium blue hue. Three sapphires with small nicks.
<li>Cabochon rubies are a well matched deep moderately purplish red hue. Calibre rubies are a well matched vibrant slightly pinkish red hue.
<li>Four of the calibre rubies with small nicks/chips.
<li>Post and hinged clip fittings for pierced ears.
<li>Electronically test as approximately 18ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
