A late Victorian 18ct gold graduated old-cut diamond and opal five-stone ring.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, I-J colour, SI2-P2 clarity.
Partial hallmarks for Birmingham, 1894. Ring size K. 3.1gms.

<li>Band resized, hallmarks partially obscured, slight discolouration, pitting.
<li>Central claws are worn but stone is secure.
<li>Two smaller diamonds, one with nibbles/small chips at girdle, one chipped under a claw.
<li>Opals with white body colour, one more transluscent.
<li>fair play of colour across a range of hues.
<li>Opals with minor abrasions.
