Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold demantoid garnet and diamond ring, together with a set of three early 20th century 15ct gold demantoid garnet, floral carved mother-of-pearl and green enamel dress studs.

Ring with hallmarks for Chester, 1915. Studs stamped 15ct.
Ring size Q1/2. Diameter of studs 1.4cms. 8.1gms.

<li>Scratches, small marks and slight discolouration in keeping with wear.

<li>Ring with one smaller gem as a garnet-topped-doublet replacement. Repair/resize at shoulders.

<li>Garnets are a vivid yellow green and slightly yellowish green, well matched within each piece. Garnets to studs in closed back settings, possibly colour foiled.

<li>Garnets with significant abrasion.

 

<li>Mother-of-pearl inlay with minor abrasions. One is discoloured.

<li>Enamel in good condition, glaze appears to be intact.
