Lot Description

A late Victorian gold rock crystal heart pendant, reverse engraved with monogram 'Harriet', on split pearl bow surmount.

Engraved 'March 14th 1879' to reverse of heart.
Length 5.1cms. 34.2gms.

<li>Varied wear to the gilt finish. Surface scratches and slight discolouration in keeping with wear.
<li>Surmount loop deficient.
<li>Slight dirt and dust trapped in the locket.
<li>Split pearls well matched, one with losses to the nacre.

<li>Few scratches to the rock crystal.

<li>Estimated dimensions of the heart 3.8 by 3.5cms.

<li>Electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold.
