A composite 19th century gold foil back garnet, split pearl and cannetille hinged bangle.

Inner diameter 5.8cms. 28gms.

<li>Minor discolourations, scratches and surface marks in keeping with considerate wear.
<li>Possible small repair at the clasp, slight discolouration.

<li>Central panel is from an earlier piece, the bracelet appears constructed to accomodate the panel.
<li>Estimated dimensions of oval panel 3.1 by 2.8cms.

<li>Garnets are foil back and appear a well matched deep slightly purplish red hue.
<li>Split pearls show varied wear. At least two replacements, one appears sunken.
<li>Central panel electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold. Bangle electronically tests as appoximately 15ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
<li>Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
