An early 20th century Art Nouveau gold boulder opal brooch, probably designed by Archibald Knox, for Liberty & Co.

<li>Scratches and small dents in keeping with wear.
<li>Soft solder repair, visible to one side of the opal mount, re-connecting the overlay wires to the mount.
<li>Base metal pin.
<li>Boulder opal shows good green and blue play of colour. matrix is the dark ironstone hues. Slight surface abrasions.
