<li>Scratches and small dents in keeping with wear.
<li>Dirt and discolouration to solder joins attaching pin and suspension loop to piece.
<li>File marks to the back of the brooch, evidence of chemical gold testing.
<li>Pin is base metal.
<li>Agates to include lace agate, carnelian and bloodstone.<p>
<li>Agates with minor abrasions.
<li>Citrines are a light slightly brownish-yellow hue, well saturated with good clarity.
<li>Citrines with minor abrasions and nibbling to facet edges.<p>
