A mid to late 19th century 18ct gold Burmese ruby and old-cut diamond ring.
Verbal from GCS, stating ruby, Burma, no heat.
Ruby calculated weight 1.57cts, based on estimated dimensions of 7.7 by 6.8 by 3.2mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct, G-I colour, predominantly VS clarity.
Ring size M1/2. 5.3gms.

<li>Small dents and discolouration to the back of the band.
<li>Diamonds are in closed back settings.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Four of the diamonds are chipped. One has a large surface reaching inclusions, possibly a crack.
<li>Please note this lot does not come with a paper report and has a verbal opinion only.
<li>The ruby appears a bright, pink red hue. Central window effect.
<li>Ruby has small natural cavity to an upper facet. Small nibbles and minor abrasions.
<li>Width 0.9cm.
<li>Case shows loss to the velvet across the entire back of the box.
