A Sri Lankan sapphire cluster pendant, with 9ct gold trace-link chain.
Verbal from GCS, stating Sri Lanka, no heat.
Principal sapphire calculated weight 6.28cts, based on estimated dimensions of 13.2 by 9 by 6.3mms.
Chain with hallmarks for Birmingham.
Length of pendant 3.5cms. Length of chain 60cms. 11.4gms.

<li>Slight surface scratches and minor marks in keeping with wear.
<li>Surmount is later replacement, slight discolouration at join. Surmount is hinged to the reverse.
<li>Sapphire mount electronically tests as approximately 19ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.

<li>Principal sapphire appears a light to medium blue hue. Large central window effect.
<li>Small, shallow nick toward the girdle.
