An early 20th century gold old-cut diamond initial 'B' brooch.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct, H-I colour, SI clarity.

<li>Scratches and small marks. General slight discolouration.
<li>Discolouration to the pin.
<li>Possible replacement fittings, slight marks and minor discolourations.
<li>Later safety chain.
<li>Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
<li>One diamond chipped, few with slight abrasions.
<li>Electronically tests as approximately 18-19ct gold, may be interference from gilt finish.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
