A late 19th century gold garnet graduated floral necklace. Length 40cms. 29gms.

<li>Surface scratches. General discolouration.
<li>One link with soft solder repair.
<li>Suspension hook to reverse of central link.
<li>Garnets are in closed, presumed foil back mounts and appear a well matched, bright, deep  red.
<li>Minor abrasions, few small nicks. One small chip to the tip of one garnet near the back of the chain.

<Li>Electronically tests as approximately 12ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
