A 19th century graduated amber bead necklace, with engraved gold clasp and matching earrings.
Length of necklace 129cms. Length of earrings 6.3cms. 141.9gms.
With fitted Edward Bright, 13 Pavilion Buildings, Brighton, case.

<li>Necklace clasp with small dent and discolouration.
<li>Earrings have replacement screw fittings for non-pierced ears.
<li>One bead to surmount of earring with small chips at the drill hole.
<li>Beads range from a mottled medium through deep brownish orange hues.
<li>Approximately twenty-two beads to the necklace show minor to noticeable chips from the drill holes, many with minor frits/nicks.
<li>Beads in general have minor to moderate surface abrasions. Few show crazing.
<li>Estimated length range of beads to the necklace 16.4 to 23.8mms.
<li>Length of longest beads to earrings approximately 22mms.
<li>Fitted case does not close, clasp broken, area of loss to towards the hinge, possible fault/replacement hinges.
