A late Georgian gold foil-back amethyst and split pearl necklace, with detachable cross...

<li>One link it damaged, where the cannetille work by the connecting link has separated from the amethyst component. In need of repair.

<li>General light to moderate marks and wear. Metal to the cross pendant appears slightly darker and discoloured.  Some file marks to the clasp and tongue and to the reverse of one of the amethyst components. Some small to large dents to the reverse.

<li>Foil-backing generally appears in good condition.

<li>Split pearls generally appear in good condition, with light abrasions. The top split pearl to the pendant section appears to be an imitation replacement, with glue to the setting.

<li>Amethysts in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>

<li>Length of cross pendant 6cms. Cross pendant with brooch fittings.
