A 1920s Art Deco platinum natural pearl and old-cut diamond necklace, with black enamel butterfly motif.
With report 5775-1244, dated 8th January 2015, from GCS, stating 20.72cts (82.88 grains), natural, saltwater, no indications of treatment.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.65cts, G-K colour, VS2-P1 clarity.
Numbered 6591. French assay marks.
Length of pendant 6.1cms. Length of chain 42cms. 14.6gms.

<li>Scratches and minor marks.
<li>French marks appear to be eagle head marks, no obvious platinum marks. Maker's kite marks partially indistinct, possibly to include a C and a leaf.
<li>Reverse of pearl mount has small hinged bar with no obvious function, possible repair/alterations.
<li>Diamonds appear bright and well matched. Lower colour grades in the smaller diamonds of the pearl surround.

<li>Pearl is half-drilled.
<li>Pearl appears a bouton shape, slightly silvery white hue with slight rose and green overtones. Few surface scratches.
