A late 19th century 18ct gold rose-cut diamond and black enamel hinged bangle.
Inner diameter 6.3cms. 74.8gms.

<li>Scratches and general small marks. Varied discolouration.
<li>Appreciable dents to the back of the bangle.
<li>Central panel rocks slightly, base metal wire is visible, may require attention. Length of central panel 4.8cms.
<li>Diamonds are foil back and appear well matched.
<li>Principal diamond estimated length 8.2mms.
<li>Cut and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>One rose-cut diamond deficient to surround of central diamond.
<li>One diamond and mount deficient to one of the scrolling foliate sides on the outer surround.
<li>Enamel with minor damages.
<li>Electronically tests as approximately 17.5-18ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
