A late 19th century silver and 18ct gold chrysoberyl and old-cut diamond cluster ring.

<li>Surface scratches and minor dents.
<li>Slight discolouration and pitting to the back of the band.
<li>Diamonds appear quie dark, most with numerous scattered dark inclusions. Moderate variance in colour.
<li>Chrysoberyl is uneven, lightly mottled in colour. Varied surface abrasion, shallow natural cavity.
<li>Chrysoberyl is vaguely chatoyant, under focused light there is an uneven, undulating line that moves across most of the gem.
<li>Length of ring head 1.8cms.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
