An early to mid 19th century foil back beryl cannetille and foliate engraved hinged bangle.

<li>Slight surface marks. Varied discolouration.
<li>Bangle with small, shallow dent to one side at the engraving of a branch.
<li>Tear and small holes to a small section of the engraving near the bangle hinge.
<li>Small dents to the central floral panel.
<li>Gems are in closed, foil back settings. The foil appears pink, varied stages of deterioration to the foil.
<li>One gem has been tested (unable to test all due to the setting of the gems) as a variety of beryl. Due to the setting it cannot be determined if the gems are goshenite or aquamarine. Some gems appear very pale blue.
<li>One gem sunken in the setting. Central gem with minor nicks.
<li>Diameter of central panel 4.1cms. Approximate height from the arm 2.4cms.
<li>Electronically tests as approximately 20ct gold (assumed gilt interference).
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
