A pair of late 19th century silver and gold old and rose-cut diamond brooches.

Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 8.50cts, G-I colour, predominantly VS-SI clarity.
Length 4.5cms each. 38.6gms.

<li>Surface scratches and small marks. General significant discolouration/tarnish.
<li>One brooch has replacement fixed brooch fittings, original screw thread remains. Hook to support a drop and small hinged loop to other side, potentially worn as a pendant, deficient surmount.
<li>Other brooch has detachable brooch fitting. Remains of alternative fitting remains to the sides of the gallery.
<li>Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
<li>One modern single-cut diamond replacement for a small rose-cut.
<li>One small rose-cut diamond deficient.
<li>Very few rose-cut diamonds with small chips.
<li>Principal diamond estimated weight 0.85ct, H-I colour, SI clarity to each brooch.
