A 19th century gold mounted shell cameo brooch, possibly depicting Orpheus and Eurydice, with lyre, in a swan headed boat.

<li>Discolouration to the pin, presumed base metal.
<li>Cameo shows moderate fine cracks.
<li>Mount electronically tests as approximately 17-18ct gold.
