An Edwardian sculptural mother-of-pearl, pearl and gold parasol handle.

French assay marks.
Numbered 1423.
Length 8cms. 49.5gms.
With fitted Cartier case.

<li>Gold mount with surface scratches. Small dent to the rim.
<li>Eagle head marks, kite mark, worn partially indistinct and numbered. Not obviously signed Cartier.
<li>Pearls untested for natural origin.
<li>Pearls appear well matched. Few internal cracks. Moderate wear. Estimated length range 3 to 3.5mms.
<li>Case shows dark inky/tar-like substance to one side.
<li>Case marked to base Cartier, 13. Rue de la Paix, 4. New Burlington St.
