JAEGER-LECOULTRE - a Geophysic wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Case width 35mm. Numbered 748543. Manual wind movement. White dial with baton hour markers, Arabic numeral six and twelve. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic watch was produced to mark the International Geophysical Year, an international scientific project that ran from mid-1957 until the end of 1958. Sixty-seven countries participated in a range of experiments and observations of geophysical phenomena, including geomagnetism, glaciology and solar activity. The watch was produced in both stainless steel and gold with less than 800 pieces made in total.

<li>We have been unable to gain access to the movement to be able to report its condition.
<li>Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Hands show holes and discolouration to the luminous paint. Minute hand luminescent paint is missing.
<li>Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks.
<li>Crown has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
<li>Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
