Lot Description

A late Victorian silver and gold, rose-cut diamond, seed pearl and green enamel heart brooch.
May be worn as a pendant.

Length 2.7cms. 6.2gms.

Scratches and minor marks. General discolouration.
Hook to top to support a surmount.
Brooch fittings unscrew.
Diamond to the centre of the heart is an old-cut.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
Seed pearls appear fairly well matched with pearly white through cream hues. Some glue/debris visible. Varied lustre.
Enamel with minimal surface abrasion.
