A Georgian gold hairwork and diamond point mourning ring, inscribed for two children.
Personal inscriptions to the reverse of the ring head.

Surface scratches and minor marks. Band resized, discolouration to interior.
Personal engraving reads '[indistinct] Knott, ob 20 feb'y 1800 at 5yrs 6ms, Henrietta Sarah Knott, ob 6 June 1799 at 3yrs 10mos'.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Glue visible to mounts.
Glass with moderate abrasions.
Glue visible to the hairwork and reverse of the glass.
