A 19th century rose-cut diamond, pearl and seed pearl star brooch. Length 4.9cms. 11.9gms.

Brooch fittings and areas of the reverse show yellow glue. Possible replacement fittings.
Clasp is hanging by a thread, will require attention.
Brooch is currently unusable.
Diamonds are in closed, presumed foil back settings.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Cut and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Length of central diamond 5.4mms.
Pearls untested for natural origin.
Pearls and seed pearls appear fairly well matched with ceamy white through cream hues. Varied, generally good lustre.
One pearl to the tip is somewhat loose, may benefit from attention.
