An early to mid 20th century gold Navaratna type clip, the Sri Lankan peach sapphire with yellow, colourless and purplish blue sapphire, pearl, emerald, ruby, cat's-eye chrysoberyl and hessonite garnet surround.
Verbal from GCS, stating peach, Sri Lanka, no heat.
Peach sapphire calculated weight 1.34cts, based on estimated dimensions of 9 by 6.6 by 2.7mms.
Length 3.5cms. 6.8gms.
Pearl untested for natural origin.

<li>Scratches and small marks.
<li>Solder visible to the mounts, possible replacements.
<li>Sapphires to the surround appear a light medium slightly brownish yellow, very slightly off-white and a deep, dark, pinkish, purplish blue.
<li>Ruby appears a bright, pinky red. Central window effect.
<li>Emerald is a light medium slihtly greenish blue. Large window effect.
<li>Pearl untested for natural origin. 3.8mms diameter.
<li>Cat's-eye is fairly sharp with a fairly wavey line under focused light.
<li>Faceted gems with minor to moderate, mostly facet edge abrasions.
<li>Glue visible to many of the mounts.
