Lot Description
A late Victorian gold reverse carved and painted rock crystal jockey on racehorse presentation stickpin.
Engraved to reverse 'Presented to Tho's Wills, by R.G.P. 1884.'
Diameter of stickpin head 2.6cms. 11.7gms.

Surface scratches and minimal marks.
Pin has a screw thread with gold safety nut.
Appears backed in mother-of-pearl.
Minor paint losses.
Jockey is wearing white with red cuffs and lapel with red cap.
Head of the pin electronically tests as approximately 21-22ct gold, presumed interference from gilt finish.
Pin electronically tests as approximately 15ct gold.
