<li>Sapphire appears a light medium yellow. Small natural surface cavity to the crown facet.
<li>Garnets appear a fairly well matched deep red. One appears much less saturated.
<li>Diameter of ring head 1.7cms.
<li>Ring head electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold. Band electronically tests as approximately 9ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
