A mid 20th century sapphire and vari-cut diamond dress ring.
Sapphire calculated weight 4.80cts, based on estimated dimensions of 10.8 by 9 by 5.9mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 2cts, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity.

Band resized/repaired with discolouration and small marks.
One section of a shoulder mount is fractured, appears stable.
Claws re-tipped, discolouration and small fissures.
Diamonds appear bright and fairly well matched.
Sapphire appears a medium blue. Moderate window effect. Eye visible inclusions.
Sapphire with small chips around a claw.
Estimated dimensions of ring head 2.5 by 1.6cms.
