Lot Description
An early Victorian gold foil back amethyst and garnet cabochon bracelet, with interlinked heart spacers.
Length 17.9cms. 18.2gms.

Slight surface scratches.
Varied small dents visible to the reverse.
Later safety clasps.
Back link has a double clasp, with garnet to either side, remaining gems are amethyst.
Glue visible to most mounts.
Amethyst appear a well matched deep slightly pinkish purple. One amethyst probable replacement, ill-fitting to the mount. Principal amethyst with minor abrasions.
Garnets appear a well matched deep very slightly brownish red.
Width 2.4cms.
Electronically tests as approximately 19-20ct gold, presumed gilt interference.
