A late Victorian gold split pearl necklace, with graduated natural pearl fringe.
With report no. 5783-3465, dated 31st July 2023, from GCS, stating natural saltwater pearls, no indication of treatment.
Length 39.5cms. 25.1gms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and small marks. General slight discolouration.
Later safety chain.
Central pearl is on a detachable hook fitting to exchange for possible pendant. Pendant no longer present.
Split pearls appear well matched with a light cream hue, slight varied discolourations. Good lustre.
Drop and barrel-shape pearls appear fairly well matched with silvery white through slightly creamy white hues, variation in lustre.
Approximate length range 6.1 to 4.5mms.
