Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold pink topaz, old-cut diamond and cultured pearl openwork foliate brooch, with pink topaz drop. May be worn as a pendant.

Pear-shape pink topaz calculated weight 2.50cts, based on estimated dimensions of 17.1 by 6.1 by 3.4mms.

Condition Report
Minor surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear, pitting where two metals meet.
Clasp is later replacement, soft solder visible to fixture.
Cultured pearl is later replacement, glue residue visible to setting.
Two diamonds with chips to crown facets, one with nick to table facet.
Diamonds fairly well matched.
Diamonds fairly bright.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Topazes medium purplish-pink, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
Pink topazes with minor abrasions.
Cultured pearl with minor blemishes.
