Scratches and small marks.
The beads consist of two types the front four and the clasp are larger with higher polish and brighter colours. Estimated length 19-19.4mms.
The majority of the beads are smaller with more muted colours, estimated length 15.2-15.6mms.
Smaller beads have minor to moderate losses/chips to the enamel.
Few gold mounts show gaps at the sides.
Gold socket at the mount of the clasp shows significant wear to the gilt finish, electronically tests as approximately 14ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
