A late Victorian silver and gold opal and old-cut diamond cluster brooch.
Opal calculated weight 5.58cts, based on estimated dimensions of 15.8 by 11.7 by 5.2mms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and small marks. Varied tarnish/discolouration.
Brooch fittings unscrew.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Opal slightly loose within the mount.
Opal has a white body colour. Good play of colour, predominantly green and blue hues. Slight surface abrasions.
