A mid Victorian 15ct gold garnet cabochon single-stone ring, with scrolling stylised foliate surround and sides.
Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1859, partially indistinct.

Scratches and small marks. General discolouration.
Band resized, discolouration and partial obstruction of the hallmarks.
Garnet is in a closed, presumed foil back mount and appears a deep slightly purplish red. Some surface reaching inclusions, slight abrasions.
Length of ring head 1.5cms.
