A Georgian gold cushion-shape old-cut diamond and split pearl cluster ring.

Estimated diamond weight 0.35ct.

General marks and wear. Band is replacement, soft solder visible between ring head and shoulders. Pitting and discolouration to underside of ring head.
Length of ring head 16mms.
Personal engraving to underside of ring head 'EHA (possibly) Nov 20 1822, at 44.'
Diamond appears bright and lively, foil-back setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Diamond with small nibbles to facet edges.
Seed pearls with some light blemishes, abrasions and pitting to nacre.
