An early to mid 19th century gold Scottish agate bracelet.

Scratches and small dents.
Central agate panel has broken and been repaired with a low carat zigzag join visible to the front and base metal panel to the reverse.
Noticeable damages to the decoration of the connecting links, some dents.
Small dents and marks to the surrounds.
Width 5cms.
Mounts electronically test as approximately 18ct gold, the clasp tongue as approximately 12ct gold, possible interference from gilt finish.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
