An early to mid 19th century gold foil-back pink topaz necklace, with matching earrings and brooch.
Length of necklace 37cms. Length of earrings 2.6cms. Length of brooch 2.3cms.

With later fitted case.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and small marks.
Varied discolouration across the pieces, some significant, presumed acid discolouration.
Brooch clasp is very tight, may require attention.
Not all gems have been tested.
Topaz are in closed, foil back settings and appear to be pale pink with strong pink foil.
Foils are variously deteriorated.
Brooch central gem has a small chip at the girdle.
Earrings one of the pear-shape topaz and one of the central spacers are chipped.
Necklace two topaz show minor chips.
Topaz across the pieces have minor to moderate abrasions.
Visible estimated dimensions of apparent largest topaz to the necklace 12 by 8mms.
Visible estimated dimensions of apparent largest topaz to the brooch 9.7 by 8.8mms.
Topaz mounts to necklace show some small damages and wear, few possible replacement gems.
Some mounts may require attention.
Earrings have replacement screw back fittings for non-pierced ears.
