A late Georgian silver and gold old-cut diamond crescent moon brooch.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.25cts, G-J colour, VS-P1 clarity.
Length 2.7cms. 4gms.

Small marks and general tarnish/discolouration.
Small loops to the top of the crescents are believed later.
Base metal pin.
Additional screw thread fitting component, possibly altered.
Diamonds are in closed, presumed foil back settings and appear fairly bright and moderately well matched with few diamonds toward the lower end of the ranges.
