A Georgian silver and gold old-cut diamond mourning brooch.
Engraved 'H. Powys, Ob't 23d July 1774, At 57.'

Condition Report
Scratches and small marks. General dirt and discolouration.
Replacement base metal brooch fittings and later safety chain.
Blue glass back to the hair lock and diamond bow is cracked. Glue visible to the hair lock.
Small sections of metal deficient to the glass mount.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Two diamonds with small chip/nicks.
