An early Victorian 18ct gold Burmese ruby and old-cut diamond floral brooch.
With report 78137-61, dated 19th January 2018, from GCS, stating Myanmar (Burma), no heat, minor oil in fissures.
Ruby weight 0.57ct.
Estimated total diamond weight 3.10cts, G-I colour, predominantly VS clarity.
Hallmarks for London, 1850.

Small marks.
Replacement brooch fittings, discolouration at pin hinge.
Maker's mark obscured/not present.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Few diamonds SI clarity.
Ruby appears a medium deep slightly purplish red. Slight abrasions, nibbles to the girdle.
