Lot Description
A pearl and rose-cut diamond butterfly brooch, with diamond, split pearl, emerald, ruby and sapphire wings.
Apparent largest emerald calculated weight 0.57ct, based on estimated dimensions of 5.2 by 5 by 3mms.
Length 5.6cms. 22.2gms.

Condition Report
Scratches and small marks. Slight dents to the pin.
One ruby has been replaced with a pinkish garnet.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
One diamond with shallow chip.
Rubies appear a pinkish red through deep red hues, variation in tone and saturation.
Minor to moderate abrasions. Two rubies chipped to pavillion facets.
Sapphires appear a medium to deep blue. Minimal abrasions.
Split pearls appear fairly well matched, few with cracks.
Emeralds appear mostly fairly well matched, one of the smaller pair appearing significantly less saturated.
Apparent largest emerald calculated weight 0.57ct, based on estimated dimensions of 5.2 by 5 by 3mms.
More saturated of the smaller emeralds is chipped to a corner.

Pearl is bouton shape, creamy white hue, slight scratches. Estimated diameter 5.9mms.
